Welcome to Valley Village
Where Adults with Developmental Challenges Thrive
Chillin' and Grillin'
Help us fund services that are not covered for adults with developmental challenges. Things like medicine, psychiatry, outings, dental care, speech therapy, music and art therapy.
StoryCorps visited California Lutheran University and enlisted Valley Village founders June Stanton and Dolores Zimmermann to share their personal stories and of Valley Village's early beginnings.
Pasadena City College's Lancer Radio Station and the Twenty-One X Foundation invited several Valley Village clients to tell their own stories through podcast. Listen each month.
Valley Village's first home was created in 1977. Today we have 18 family-style homes throughout the San Fernando Valley.
We serve over 300 men and women through our Adult Day Health Cares, Behavior Enrichment, and Adult Development programs.
Volunteers go on trips, help at events, put on special events for clients, support office staff, even provide music and art projects.
The Valley Village Foundation is committed to ensuring the future of Valley Village. Advanced planning is one way the Foundation grows.
Our mission is to protect, foster, develop and advance the rights and interests of people with developmental disabilities.
